About me

Andy BryantHello and welcome. My name is Andy Bryant and I'm a hard working, passionate web designer from Norfolk, UK.

I have been working with the Web in one way or another since 1998. I started out as an HTML developer, then content co-ordinator/commissioner, then website editor for Norwich-based Anglia Multimedia Ltd.

I left Anglia in 2001 to join South Norfolk Council [external link] as Web Editor, where I learned the principles of accessible web design, and how to put them into practice. I left the council in January 2009, after it's website was given Accessible status by the Shaw Trust [external link] following three years of hard work after a site redesign in 2005. Not bad for a site with about 2,500 pages. I'm now part of the E-Commerce Team at Virgin Money [external link].

I am also a member of the Guild of Accessible Web Designers (GAWDS) [external link], and I am committed to raising awareness of accessibility in web design. I practice what I preach in the websites I make, the preaching you'll find in the LessFuss Design blog.

LessFuss Design is my freelance business which I started in May 2007. If I have a mission it’s to prove that you can build attractive, dynamic websites that are also truly accessible to everyone. Plus I just love doing it. Between myself and the freelance programmers and designers who work with me, we have all the necessary skills and experience to build quality websites that give return on your investment, and are fully accessible.

If you have any questions or comments, or you want to find out how I can help with your web project, then please feel free to get in touch with me.

Services & prices

Websites

Professional, accessible websites for small businesses and organisations. If you need a presence on the web and you want to stand out from the crowd, then look no further. Prices start from £250 for a single page website. Here's some I made earlier.

Blogs

Reach existing and potential customers with a blog (web log). Publish news, announcements and articles as and when you want. Essential for any small business. Prices start at £400 for a WordPress [external link] powered blog integrated with your website.

Web shops

Got something to sell? Reach the thousands of people who like to buy online and set up a web shop for your business. We'll design and build a slick, easy to use shop to handle online ordering and payment. Get in touch for a quote.

With every site, whether it's a regular website, blog or web shop, you get the following:

  • Professional website design;
  • Site optimised for search engines;
  • Domain registration (e.g. yourbusinessname.co.uk);
  • One year's web hosting (1.5Gb of space);
  • Spam & virus protected email;
  • Web enquiry form;
  • Website statistics (numbers of visitors etc.);
  • Site submitted to Google & Yahoo! search engines.

I used to offer priced up web packages, but everyone's needs are different and with every job I've done clients have wanted bits extra or bits taken off. Therefore to get an idea of how much your web project might cost, please get in touch with me for a quote. I look forward to hearing from you.
